 Students are trained for careers as custodians or janitors in hospitals, office buildings, stores, and as groundskeepers or landscape maintenance workers in nurseries, greenhouses or private industries. Students are taught the basics of industrial janitorial service including floor and restroom maintenance, proper handling of chemicals and state of the art janitorial cleaning equipment.
The Custodial Trade Training Program is a 10 week, "hands-on" training program. A trained instructor teaches classes and supervises work in the field. Training operates year round with the exception of holidays. Class hours are 8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday and ensures individualized attention. Enrollment is open-ended. Due to the nature of the work involved, individuals must be able to lift 25 pounds and perform repeated bending, stooping and standing. Upon successful completion of the Custodial Trade Training Program, a certificate is issued.

Our Custodial Trade Training and Office Technology Training programs and instructors are certified by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE).
