Goodwill provides a variety of education, training and employment services for people with disabilities. Our purpose is to offer people with disabilities or other disadvantages the opportunity to gain work experience and skills in the best possible place - on the job.
The following five programs are tailored to meet the needs of each person:
Work Assessment & Vocational Training: Uses real work environments to assess specific skills as well as a trainee's work related behaviors.
Job Development: Places people with various abilities in area businesses needing qualified and motivated employees at no charge to the applicant or employer. Job developers work with business in all sectors to match a graduate's skills to specific job demands.
Job Coaching: On the job training and support services can be provided at no cost to the employer. A job coach will ensure that the employee is meeting the standards of the job.
Follow Along: A job coach will maintain contact for the first three months of employment to assure that all parties are satisfied.
Our Custodial Trade Training and Office Technology Training programs and instructors are certified by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE).
